Over time we've been looking for healthy alternatives to those things we love to eat but are loaded with sugar and other strange ingredients. For us, health is not what it used to be anymore, so we have to be extra careful. So today we share another recipe our way. A healthy chocolate mousse with simple ingredients and very quick to make. At the end of the post you can see our educational videos on how to make this mousse and how to peel avocado easily.
There are many variants of this mousse and each person can choose alternative ingredients. In this post, we show you how we do it at home, our way.
Ingredients
- 1 large ripe Avocado
- 1/2 Cup Almond Milk (cow milk or other vegetable milk can be used)
- 2 TBSP Raw Cocoa Powder
- 4 TBSP Honey (other sweeteners can be used)
How To Do It
- Peel and dice the avocado.
- In a food processor add avocado, almond milk, cocoa powder, and honey.
- Blend until creamy.
- Pour into the bowls.
- Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
This recipe serves two people. To make this mousse for more people you can double the amounts, always taking care to adjust the amount of sweetener as per your taste.
The result is a super creamy, delicious, and balanced mousse. Try it!
